NM: Have you experienced any real life nightmares?

AS: I have not really experienced any real life nightmares. The biggest real life nightmare that I came near to was facing the camera for the first time in my career. It was frightening.

NM: Is there a particular role that you want to play but have never been offered?

AS: I have played numerous characters but never got a chance to play one particular role. I would love to play role of a sportsman. I am a big fan of cricket and soccer and sometimes play golf too.

NM: What kind of training/education do you recommend for acting?

AS: Talent is natural and something that cannot be taught. It can be further refined with proper training. Unfortunately, we don’t have drama schools in Pakistan which can compete at global level.

NM: You have achieved so much over the years. Your biggest achievement so far?

AS: I think my biggest achievement in life was when I brought smile and pride to my mother with my success. No awards or recognition can match the happiness of that level.

NM: It has become a trend nowadays to make dramas on bold and tabooed subjects. Do you think this should continue?

AS: There is no harm in making dramas on such topics as long as they play a positive and constructive role for the society.

NM: You worked in Hollywood with the legendary actress Angelina Jolie? What did you learn while working in such a big industry?

AS: Playing a role in A Mighty Heart was one of the best experiences of my life. It was a movie with an excellent story and we all were deeply involved while playing our characters during the movie shooting.

Jolie was stranded at an Islamic school in Mumbai where she was shooting a movie when angry parents accused her bodyguards of shoving around their children. Jolie's bodyguards were unable to clear a way for her through the irate crowd for at least an hour, said witnesses who were at the school in India's financial hub Mumbai while shooting the film based on a book by slain Wall Street Journal correspondent Daniel Pearl's widow. NM: Pakistan film industry is growing day by day, are you planning to do any Pakistani film in future?

AS: For now, my focus is on dramas but that doesn’t mean that I don’t plan to do movies. With the way our cinema is moving forward, I can surely say it has got a bright future.

NM: The role you enjoyed the most?

AS: I enjoyed playing role in one of my recent dramas, Aitbaar which was aired on Aaj Entertainment. The character was powerful and story was gripping.

NM: Message for Vogue Amour?

AS: Vogue Amour is a nice up-to-date blog and I wish Nageen all the very best for her future endeavors.
