Nickie Nina showcase their summer line

After having a successful bridal and formal wear season, the design house Nickie Nina is set to launch their summer line, High Tide. The event will take place on Monday, 8th of May 2017 at their flagship store on MM Alam Road, Lahore.

Aliya Nazir and Nabila Junaid are credited with being one of the first Pakistani designers who were inspirations for many female fashion designers that followed, becoming one of the first women to control a major fashion house in Pakistan. Since its inception, the brand’s design philosophy has been to create a fusion of traditional embellishment and unconventional cuts that, when merged with rich fabrics and textures, creates a classic ‘Nickie Nina’ entity.

Nickie Nina’s summer line is an introduction to a simplified and minimalistic collection. This collection aims to have an on the go approach to fashion embodying exclusive and exquisite traditional handmade fabric called ‘katcha tanka’ all the while instilling eye-catching designs weaved with perfection to equip the contemporary needs. The collection derives its inspiration from nature hence falling effortlessly upon the eyes with its distinct aesthetics and meticulously selected silhouettes.


With a bright and lively palette of colors the collection encapsulates the true essence of a tropical summer which dawns the aura of the season. The designers have made use of materials such as organza, grip, satin, katcha tanka, and embroidered fabric with a chic summer flare, giving it a fresh outlook like never seen before.
