Last night, I had an opportunity to visit Irish Nights, the new restaurant sensation in the K-Town, with my family. The restaurant is located a street behind the famous Bar B Q Tonight restaurant in Clifton area of Karachi near Bilawal House. Talking about the ambiance, I found the restaurant dark and dull though they had a good arrangement on Eid days with live music and some bright and vibrant lights.
We ordered a variety of food including the ones listed below. Each dish is individually reviewed later in the article.
- Special Irish Platter
- Bbq Platter
- Grilled Ceaser Salad
- Stuffed Chicken Strips
- Chicken Tarragon
- Chicken Sanezo
Special Irish Platter:
It was a good combination of seafood along with chicken strips and wings. Enjoyed the platter as the appetizer. Good taste but less quantity according to the price.
It had some good fulfilling stuff for 2 people, like spicy boti, malai boti, reshmi kebab along with a fish tikka which I asked them to exchange with chicken spicy boti so over all it was a good decision to order this platter as it had all the desi tarka we would want in bbq 😀 Quite satisfied.
Grilled Ceaser Salad:
This salad was a pure disappointment as it had hardly a piece of prawn in it and didn’t even taste as good as we expected.
Stuffed Chicken Strips:
They were really amazing! I loved them, they were yum. Though they were very heavy to eat but my craving for it didn’t end. A must try!
Chicken Tarragon and Chicken Sanzo:
These two main-course dishes were the best out of all – Tops the list. Delicious to eat, extreme good quantity, the rice, chips, dressing all was up to the mark so thumbs up for these two dishes 😀 Chicken Sanzo was heavier to eat comparing it to chicken tarragon but both were amazingly delicious to eat.
Chicken Tarragon had the right amount of sauce to balance the taste of the fillet with rice.
And Chicken Sanzo was a pure delight for the cheese lovers. A crispy tender chicken fillet lies under a full doze of cheese layers. OMG! Something irresistible <3 Both the dishes are highly recommended.
So overall a nice pleasant experience! Hope they improve and go a long way!
