Review – Vintage Bake Shop

On Vogue Amour’s first anniversary, I decided to order a custom-themed cake from the much-hyped bakers in K-Town, Vintage Bakeshop. The design of the cake which I ordered was according to the theme of my blog which is fashion, beauty and lifestyle so I decided to go with cosmetics-theme for the cake with Nutella flavor.

The cake was delivered to me on the booked date and time though it came a bit late but nonetheless, they sent a van for delivery of the cake as it weighed a whopping 8-pound.

Upon opening the box, I was glad to see that delivering the cake in the van served the purpose as the cake wasn’t smudged during travelling and delivery and was delivered in proper condition but I was slightly crestfallen to see that the design was only in the front up to the middle of the cake and rest of the half cake had no design so the front looked gorgeous but the back was plain which I was not expecting. Otherwise, the design was simply mesmerizing and jaw-dropping and the cosmetics looked amazing. The black theme color of the cake looked elegant and complimented the cosmetics design well.

Coming to the taste, I am an already a big fan of their Nutella cake and once again I fell in love with it all over again. I MEAN IT! The cake tasted really delectable and luscious and was liked by my whole family who joined me in for the celebrations of the anniversary. Even the fondant of the cake tasted very nice so overall the cake had a divine flavor which was so much better than the other bakers in town.

One of the best things which I liked about the cake was the way they made my blog’s logo edible and good-looking on the cake and made it compliment the cake theme.

I was truly satisfied with the cake flavor and its safe delivery which is remarkable and justified the heavy price tag it came with but it was worth it and lived up to the expectations.
